My favorite band

Today I want to write about the most important band to me, Radiohead.

Radiohead was formed in United Kingdom in 1985; the members are the singer Thom Yorke, the soloist guitarist Jonny Greenwood, the bassist, and brother of Jonny, Colin, the second guitarist Ed O’Brien and the drummer Phil Selway. The genres they play are alternative rock.

I like Radiohead for their lyrics, so abstract but with powerful message inside about a lot of existential themes like love, dead, meaning, or rather, meaningless of life, but I think the really mastery on Radiohead reside in their sound, the melodies and timbre are so beautiful and so deep.

Also I have an emotional reason why I love Radiohead, a year ago I suffer a depressing period, their album ‘’In Rainbows’’ companion me in this moment and in my recover, their album became the soundtrack of one of the most important time in my life.

The computer is really cool

I was born in the new century so I grew up with the technology, in my childhood I use the computer so much, such is the case that my parents ground me and I couldn’t use it because my bad grades at school (I express my gratitude for that because that help me in school) in the past I only used to play videogames but I realized that the computer is so useful.

I can learn about a lot of interesting things, like the history, physics, music, politics, philosophy etc. Thanks to the computer I learned many things that stimulus me in the world of social sciences.

But actually I don’t use only the computer; the cellphone is really useful is like you have a little computer in the palm of my hand that I can use wherever I want, but in my opinion the computer is more comfortable.

About Me.

Hello, my name is Demian Espinoza Lopez, I have 18 years old and I was born in the commune of Santiago in Chile. I did my basic studies in Colegio Puelche in the commune of La Florida until 2013, when my school was closed :c

I finished my secundary studies in New Little College in La Florida too. Actually I am studying Anthropology at University of Chile, I specifically liked the subject of ‘’Formation of the Modern Society’’ and ‘’Philosophy of the Science Social’’, I feel so happy with the ambient of university and I have met a lot of wondeful people.

Actually I live in the commune of Puente Alto with my mother, father, sister, grandmother and my two dogs, a Chihuahua called ‘’Luna’’ and a Dachshund called ‘’Pipo’’. My hobbies are spend time with my friends, the internet, play videogames and the music, listen to it or play it, I play guitar, keyboard, ukelele etc (not very well), my favorite bands are Radiohead and Pink Floyd.

About my career

When I was a child, I was always interested in the humanities like the language or history but also I liked the arts and culture like music. During all the high school I want to be a lawyer, helping people with their problems.

But some point I think if I really want to be a lawyer, after a long reflection I realized that if I love the history and the culture, the law would not give me that, I have to find one career that gives me that, history and culture, so finally I choice anthropology.

Until my short stay in the university, I found that combination of history and culture in my career, learning about different cultures and their manifestations, in the future I want write papers about anthropology or helping people with the tools that career gives me, help them with them problems.
